This splendid Edwardian hotel was built in 1905 on the site of the original Crown and Mitre Inn. There's a blazing log fire in the lobby and 25 rooms have been refurbished, with five of them now containing the full Sky package. It also has a family suite with a Playstation 3 and can take a family of 5 people.The swimming pool has also been fully re-furbished. The Crown & Mitre really welcomes cyclists and is a truly comfortable and stylish place to take a night off and rest your weary limbs. Great for groups.
